Young Adults With Disability
CASA strives to support young adults with disabilities with the intention of addressing the problems of isolation and the limited social skills they face within the community. The target group is people with disabilities of different origins from 18 to 35 years old.
Our goal is to address the problem of isolation experienced by young adults with a disability by providing a safe space in which they can interact with others through activities in which they can participate to connect and cope with isolation. This, in turn, would increase their social support networks, facilitate the learning of new skills, and expand their knowledge in areas of interest to them. In addition to these results, it is also intended that through group activities, they increase their confidence and social skills.
